UNITE FOR LITERACY
Original, non-fiction picture books support beginning readers of all ages. Features include predictable, rhythmic language; images with clear, familiar subjects; and text that ranges from one word up to a few sentences per page.
books provide unique audio support to families who speak (or are learning to speak) English, indigenous or foreign languages. Simple audio buttons on each page allow you to hear narrations by native speakers in warm, expressive voices.

STORYLINE
Storyline Online streams videos featuring celebrated actors reading children’s books alongside creatively produced illustrations. Readers include Viola Davis, Chris Pine, Lily Tomlin, Kevin Costner, Annette Bening, James Earl Jones, Betty White and dozens more.
Each book includes supplemental curriculum developed by a credentialed elementary educator, aiming to strengthen comprehension and verbal and written skills for English-language learners.

CLIFFORD E-BOOKS
Teach phonics through online games and stories starring Clifford. Early readers practice important phonemic awareness and phonics skills while listening to words and selecting which words to include in their stories. These activities engage students in building storybooks, helping students connect sounds to letters and enhance their reading vocabulary.

Find the perfect book for your purposes and discover new ones that interest you.
Google's free books are made available to read through careful consideration of and respect for copyright law globally: they are public-domain works, made free on request of the copyright owner, or copyright-free, e.g. US government documents.

LOC READING ROOM
The unique materials of the Rare Book and Special Collections Division at the Library of Congress, now totaling over 800,000 items, include books, broadsides, pamphlets, theater playbills, prints, posters, photographs, and medieval and Renaissance manuscripts. At the center is Thomas Jefferson's book collection, which was sold to Congress in 1815.

INTERNET ARCHIVE
The Internet Archive, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, is building a digital library of Internet sites and other cultural artifacts in digital form. Like a paper library, we provide free access to researchers, historians, scholars, the print disabled, and the general public. Our mission is to provide Universal Access to All Knowledge.

MANY BOOKS
Many Books was established in 2004 with the vision to provide an extensive library of books in digital format for free on the Internet. Many of the early eBooks are from the Project Gutenberg archives, which means you will be able to find a lot of classics on the site.

PROJECT GUTENBERG
Choose among free epub and Kindle eBooks, download them or read them online. You will find the world’s great literature here, with focus on older works for which U.S. copyright has expired. Thousands of volunteers digitized and diligently proofread the eBooks, for you to enjoy.

Loyalbooks offers over 7,000 public domain titles in e-book and e-audiobook formats. They make searching easy by providing easy-to-use links to genres and collections of interest. A primarily visual browsing experience makes searching easy.

LEARN OUT LOUD
Browse over 50,000 educational audiobooks, podcasts, and videos. One of the most popular sections of the site is our Free Audio & Video Directory which features over 10,000 free audio books, courses, documentaries, lectures, interviews, speeches, and more. They also have a Podcast Directory with over 7,000 carefully selected audio & video podcasts you can learn from. The Kids Audio Books Section features over 2,000 audio books, podcasts, and free videos for kids & teens to learn from.
