OPL is thrilled to welcome the author of It All Came Back to Me, Beth Duke, to join us during the book club on Monday, June 17 at 3:30. The book is of special interest to OPL’s book club because not only will the author be present (which is always a special treat), but the book is also set in our local area, which will add local flavor and familiarity to the reading. Feel free to ask questions and hear additional commentary from the author’s point of view about this novel. The novel follows the story of a young nurse who makes a connection with a patient under her care in an assisted living facility. Touching, interesting, and with a surprise in the end, the novel is a thought-provoking read and will undoubtedly result in a stimulating conversation. Join us at OPL!
July 15 @ 3:30 And then there were none by Agatha Christie
Ten strangers, apparently with little in common, are lured to an island mansion off the coast of Devon by the mysterious U.N.Owen. Over dinner, a record begins to play, and the voice of an unseen host accuses each person of hiding a guilty secret. That evening, former reckless driver Tony Marston is found murdered by a deadly dose of cyanide.
The tension escalates as the survivors realize the killer is not only among them but is preparing to strike again… and again...
