Everyone can learn something new!
Learning never stops with a computer. Whether you are just starting out, want to add some advanced skills to your repertoire, or somewhere in between, OPL can help you learn what you need to know about computers.
Classes at OPLComputers can be intimidating! Please don't feel overwhelmed; let the library help you. OPL offers computer classes every Wednesday at noon to help you feel more comfortable when you use the computer. Topics for each class are posted above.
|
OPL AcademyIf you can't make it to the classes in the library, take advantage of OPL Academy, which offers computer help in lots of different subjects. This service doesn't go in to the same amount of detail that the Knowledge City service does, but it offers tutorials on lots of computer services.

OPL offers a collection of over 18,000 courses, most of which deal with computer skills, through Knowledge City. To sign in to use this free service, use the last six digits of your library card number as your username; your PIN is your last name.

If you are new to computers, haven't used them for a while, are a little unsure and uncomfortable, or just need a bit of a refresher, we have the tools to help you tackle technology at your own pace and gain the confidence you need to succeed.

BYOD
OPL also offers a BYOD (Bring Your Own Device) service. Register using the button below to be connected one-on-one with a staff member to help you learn about your device. We will even help you install software to download free e-books!
We'll set aside each Tuesday at noon just for BYODs, but you can register below for any day of the week.
