Everyone can learn something new!

Learning never stops with a computer. Whether you are just starting out, want to add some advanced skills to your repertoire, or somewhere in between, OPL can help you learn what you need to know about computers.

Beginners

Computers can be intimidating! Please don't feel overwhelmed. We have  beginner classes that build on each other. They start at the first of each span of two months. The classes begin with learning how to turn the computer on and off, learning the difference between left and right clicking, and learning terminology. Internet use, searching, and safety is addressed.

Enhanced

Once a computer user learns the basics, he is ready for some enhanced knowledge. Enhanced class topics are determined by popular demand/request. Microsoft Office programs (especially Excel and Word) make a regular appearance on the schedule, and  Fake News is also a frequent return. Check the schedule for class offerings.

Online

OPL offers a collection of over 8,000 courses, most of which deal with computer skills, through Knowledge City.
