These five resources are available to you, FOR FREE, with your library card number. Look for a press release next week in regards to the newest offering of Newspaper Archives, which is a great resource for finding news articles. The five news resources that are available are as follows:
- Newspaper Archive is a brand-new offering from OPL, and it allows access to newspapers from 1,539,524 historical Alabama newspapers with 99 publications that cover 1830-2022. Patrons can download, print, and save clippings if they so choose.
- The Anniston Star’s digital newspaper is offered for current local news.
- Ethnic Newswatch provides full-text journals, magazines, and newspapers of the ethnic and minority press.
- Newspaper Source provides cover-to-cover full-text for hundreds of national, international, and regional newspapers, as well as television and radio transcripts from major networks.
- Regional Business News provides access to full-text regional business publications for the United States and Canadian Provinces.
