How do i use a library computer?

The library has 16 Windows computers available for patron use on the second floor, and there are eight children's computers on the first floor.

The computers have internet access and printing capabilities. They all have Microsoft Office 2013 and other useful software.

To use OPL's computers, simply go to whichever computer you would like to use, and log in using the last six digits of your library card number.

If you do not have a library card, the Reference desk by the adult computers or the Children's desk by the children's computers will issue you a temporary pass until you get your library card. The temporary pass will be issued three times.

There is also a computer-access only card available. If you have exceeded your temporary pass allowance, go to the front desk with your Driver's License to be issued a computer-access only card. This will not allow you to remove materials from the building as check outs, but it will allow you to continue to use the library's computers.

There is no charge to use the computers, but there is a charge to print from the computers. Black & White copies are $.15/page. Color copies are $.50/page.
