Check out a blind date!

Reading books outside our norm can be an exciting experience! We can find new authors and genres to explore.

Maybe a great book was hiding behind a less-than-appealing cover. Or maybe the title or author's name threw us. No matter what the reason, we are glad to have the opportunity to read something different with a chance to win some awesome prizes!

Starting February 1st, you may check out a book and all you will know about the book is the genre (mystery, romance, non-fiction, etc.) of the book. Then fill out your review slip and turn it in for each book you read for a chance to win prizes.

Your local Oxford businesses have shown up and shown out when it comes to Blind Date with a Book prizes this year! We have prizes for all ages, men and women, boys and girls.

The books will be displayed in the lobby of the Library on the first floor. Just choose your book and take it to the circulation desk to check it out with your library card.

One winner, one prize

OPL is excited to call our winners after the drawing at the conclusion of the program! In order to ensure that many of our wonderful patrons win prizes, OPL will restrict drawings to one prize per person.

Curbside service is available!

We are still happy to provide curbside service for regular check-outs, and we will be happy to bring a date to your car-door, too! Just fill out the form below, and we will see you soon!
We only need the last six digits.
You may choose as many genres as you would like.
