Adult literacy program

Adult volunteering is community at its finest. OPL has an Adult Literacy Program that makes a true difference in lives in our community.

Become a tutor to help adults learn how to read. You do not need any education experience; a computer-assisted curriculum is in place that walks the volunteer tutor right through helping the adult learner.

Contact OPL to get started. Either use the form on this page,  call (256) 831-1750 x8, email oxfordlibrary@cableone.net, or come by the library.
